These terms govern your access to and use of Exodocs. They're written to be readable, so please read them. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Exodocs is a tool for engineering teams that watches your code repositories and alerts you when your documentation drifts out of date. These terms set out the rules for using it. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Exodocs, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Exodocs connects your code repositories (such as GitHub) to your documentation hub (such as Notion or Confluence), computes a freshness score for the pages you track, and notifies you, for example in Slack, when code changes suggest a page may be stale. Optional AI features can suggest mappings, summarise drift, and draft new documentation. Features evolve; we may add, change, or remove functionality over time.
You agree not to:
As between you and Exodocs, you own all data you connect or submit ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We claim no ownership over your code, documentation, or content.
Exodocs and its software, branding, and design remain our intellectual property. Subject to these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription.
Exodocs interoperates with third-party services (GitHub, Notion, Confluence, Slack, Anthropic, Stripe). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You are responsible for maintaining the credentials you connect and for ensuring you have the rights to connect them.
AI-generated output (including mapping suggestions, drift summaries, and documentation drafts) may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is provided to assist you and must be reviewed by a human before you rely on or publish it. You are responsible for any content you choose to publish to your documentation hub.
We work to keep Exodocs available and aim for 99.9% monthly availability for paying customers, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, and we may suspend access where necessary to protect the service or comply with the law. Where practical, we will give advance notice of planned downtime.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Exodocs does not warrant that documentation freshness scores or alerts will be complete or error-free; they are signals to assist your team, not a guarantee about the state of your documentation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exodocs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You may stop using Exodocs and close your organisation at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends and your data is handled according to the retention timelines in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms as the service and the law evolve. We will post the revised version here and update the "last updated" date, and we will give notice of material changes in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Exodocs is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
